Good point, so we should make the owners of the data centers pay for the infrastructure too, just like a normal person would have to with their Internet cables

Why does MY bill go up when a small number of the electric company’s customers use a huge amount of electricity?
Why aren’t they just charging the people who use more than everyone else?
