Enough that it will sell out over and over.

The Steam Deck already showed that people dont care so much about raw performance. Everyone did the exact same thing as now, calling it underpowered. Granted it was a handheld, so it sold on that merit. Just like the Steam Machine will sell on it’s own merits.
It’s a perfectly powerful machine, the price is unfortunate given the market state. There’s not much reason we need that much more power, except that today’s big games are made like absolute shit and barely perform, but hey, we can just not play those shitty games.
If you cannot justify, you dont have to buy it. Everyone else can make their own decision.
Like I said, show me one in the same form factor.
Anyway, you can just say it’s not for you. You dont have to be offended that it’s appealing for others and not tailored to what you want.
That’s DDR4 and not a tiny form factor like the Steam Machine (or low TDP).
You are clueless about the market if this is what you consider a comparable build. There’s a lot more to it than pure gaming fps numbers.

I think sitting on it does nothing. They might as well release it and then drop the price when they can during its lifetime.
We dont know how much longer this AI bullshit is going to go on for or how it will crash at the end, if at all.

I wouldn’t call it mid, but the trackpads are the main selling point, if you don’t need them, then it’s a pretty pointless purchase (outside of just wanting it because it’s Valve). An Xbox controller is way, way more comfortable for joystick usage.

I cant remember specifics, but they said the price was X but it was actually higher and then they did rebates to stores. They also have Frank Azor constantly making dumb posts online.
All they had to do was sell it as cheap as they could and shut up, but AMD are known for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

The 9070XT is a great card, AMD just fuck up every launch they do.

You can decide if you want to use it or not, at your own risk. It’s free software, written by people in their free time, they owe you nothing.
If you replaced Forgejo with GitHub then I would understand, but Forgejo isn’t a massive organization with hundreds of hired employees, it’s run by people in their spare time with the option of donations.
Anyone can help contribute, instead of doing that, this guy decided to try and get some clout by being an asshole because he is butthurt about some other interaction. If this guy went about it the proper way and then still got no answer or fix after months, then I would understand more, but he didn’t.
The entire attitude is shit. Could just contact the developers as outlined, instead of being a prude about it for some clout.
What a dick that guy is.
Fuck kernel AC and fuck companies trying to control what settings we use on our PCs to play games.
